John Voelcker edited Green Car Reports for nine years, publishing more than 12,000 articles on hybrids, electric cars, and other low- and zero-emission vehicles, which means he knows a thing or two about efficiency. On the flip side, he’s also a rabid enthusiast who recently took a 2,500+ mile road trip in a pair of untested 30-year-old quasi-British imports, which means he also fits right in with us here at Hemmings.
