Stop Punishing Yourself

Trigger warning: today's episode is intense. Especially if you have been personally traumatized by the toxicity of the U.S's religious institutions. Today I am talking about creating your own spiritual middle ground. It's outside of these harmful religious institutions, but not so far the opposite way into spiritual mysticism and woo woo land. It's right in the middle. There's only one rule required in order to practice it. And it's probably not what you think it is. In a time where the characteristic's of spirit are needed more than ever on this planet (honesty, patience, gentleness, tolerance, open mindedness), we must make sure we are carving out a space in our own lives for a spiritual practice that work's for US. We don't have to accept someone else's version of it, we are completely free to create our own.
