In the week following the mass shooting of three different spas in Atlanta, little is known about the circumstances of the attacks. A 21-year-old man has admitted to carrying out the shooting that left 8 people dead. According to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s official announcement, the suspect claimed that he committed the acts because of his sex addiction. We spoke to Dr Joshua B Grubbs, Assistant Professor of Psychology at Bowling Green State University about the stigma around Sex addiction and if those suffering from it are more likely to commit violent crimes.
