The book of Hebrews argues for the superiority of Jesus Christ over all the forms and shadows of the Old Testament. All the symbols of the old covenant find their fulfillment in the new covenant. This series of messages was part of an exposition of the book of Hebrews by Jim Osman, a pastor at Kootenai Community Church.

Paul wrote this corrective letter to the church in Galatia because the believers were being fooled by legalistic Jews in their understanding of grace; they were thinking they could add to God's grace and gain His acceptance by keeping God’s ceremonial laws that He had given to Jews. Paul was teaching them and us as well that we are justified by faith alone and not by anything we can do.

Welcome to this course on hermeneutics. It will be our goal as we study together The Science and Art of Biblical Interpretation. We call it a “science” because there are certain rules to learn and apply. We call it an “art” because our practice of these rules and principles will become part of the skillset we use and develop over time to become better students and communicators of God’s Word.

Paul wrote his first letter to Timothy so he would know, "...how one ought to behave in the household of God, the church of the living God..." (3:14,15). In doing so he laid down the apostolic foundation for doctrine and practice for the church at Ephesus and the Scriptural model for the true church for all time. The contemporary church, therefore, has no excuse for not doing God's work God's way. This series of messages is a verse-by-verse exposition of the book of Haggai by Jeff Miller. Th ...

Yahweh commissioned Haggai to rebuke the Jews, remind them of their priorities and to encourage them with the covenant promises of their God. This series of messages is a verse-by-verse exposition of the book of Haggai by Jeff Miller. These messag ...
