We live in a world where the default motto is, "Every man for himself.” Consciously or subconsciously, it’s easy to fall into a life focused on our needs and the needs of those closest to us. What Paul says in Philippians 2:21, could be affirmed today: “For everyone looks out for their own interests, not those of Jesus Christ.” It’s a rare gift when you see something other than this. Yet, we find ourselves longing for something different. Selfless love is the calling of every believer. A call modeled by Paul, Timothy, and the lesser-known disciple, Epaphroditus.
