However, the truth is that reality, as christians, does not require imagination to fill gaps. Discussion Questions: 1. Why do you think people tend to create a version of Jesus that fits their personal preferences or lifestyle? Have you noticed yourself doing this at times? 2. Read John 1:1-14. According to this passage, how does John describe the real Jesus? How does this challenge or affirm your current understanding of Jesus? 3. If you had to describe the real Jesus based on what you've learnt from the bible. How would you do it? How does that compare to the image of Jesus you've held in the past?
