Season 8 Episode 7 of Cheshire Matters, with your favourite 'digital' pub, Cheshire Matters, featuring your absolutely amazing, brilliant, witty and very talented 'Ab Fab' landlord and host Jonathan Starkey, with regular panelists Trevor Nicholls (the Gazelle), Mark Hartley (Stats Man) and Steve Ingram (formerly Lycra Man, the Raven (C-Caw), the Patriot, Captain Crow, Captain Pugwash lookalike, potential Eurovision Song Contest entrant and lately Right Engle and Captain Circumference 360º) dropping in for a digital pint to discuss important national, regional and local issues, sometimes humorous, sometimes serious always entertaining. Refurbishment to the Cheshire Matters lounge is complete and Dr. C. will be relocating to the snug for some interviews in future episodes.
Important subjects in the news discussed at the bar this week include the ab fab and totally brilliant Landlord's round up of stories that caught his eye, the National is about the new variant, Omicron, the present facts, and the launch of financial support for vulnerable households over winter. Woke the Plank is about the cancelling of the word Christmas by Whitehall officials and the Public Figure(s) of the Week is Brian May, guitarist of Queen followed by the usual shout outs and shout downs and much much more with one exception, Steve (aka The Raven) lost his Mother this week and he gives a poignant heart felt shout out as any dutiful son would do for his mother. We all join with him in support at this time and offer our sincere condolences to him and his family at this time. It goes without saying, it was great to have him on the programme this week. God speed.
Join us for these interesting topics and all the usual humour and satire from the best digital pub with the best digital landlord in the UK (the guest panellists, apart from Stats and the Gazelle, are minor entities along for the ride).
