Martina Willam is Director Product Management at SAP SuccessFactors for talent solutions. She shares her view on why skills and AI are the two hot topics when looking into the HR space these days. We are looking into the questions organizations want to address with skills management like “What competencies and skills do my employees possess? And how can I keep this data up to date?”, what the typical pitfalls are if you want to become a skills-based organization and what can help to overcome them. And she states the importance of the employee perspective. We discuss SAPs approach to skills management from the whole self model to different solutions like the SAP Talent Intelligence Hub, the Attribute Library and the different scenarios like for recruiting, people development or workforce management.
