We’re never going to change the subject. We aren't going to graduate and go onto something else. It’s only, ever, always going to be about Jesus.

We are trying to help you see Jesus is the focal point of eternity. Jesus' offer is the best offer. Jesus way is the best way.

For too long the church has been known for what they’re against.

We want to make it explicitly clear who we are for. We are for Jesus.

For his glory. For his ways. For his gospel. For his Kingdom.

Jesus is who we want to shine the spotlight on. Jesus is the story we want to tell. Jesus is the banner we want to raise.

A church who doesn’t have Jesus as their message, makes secondary things primary. They major on minors and miss the major.

Works and morality become the message. Rules and rule following become the message.

If your concerned with peoples clothes, Jesus isn’t your message.

If your most concerned with methods, Jesus isn’t your message.

Jesus was a fisher of men, and he knows the way to catch the heart of man is by not trying to clean the fish before you catch it.

The message of Jesus is not about who’s most qualified or most holy, the message is that Jesus loves you and wants a relationship with you...whoever you are.

Colossians 1:15-23

"15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. 17 And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent. 19 For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, 20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross. 21 And you, who once were alienated and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds, 22 he has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before him, 23 if indeed you continue in the faith, stable and steadfast, not shifting from the hope of the gospel…"
