The Montreal arts and entertainment that asks comedian and musician Leighland Beckman: “If a group of crows is a murder, what is a group of you called?” Asked by Elspeth Wright back in episode 254.

Listeners of Go Plug Yourself already know who Leighland Beckman is, he has been sensually serenading you with our theme song for nearly a decade.

So we’re super happy to have him on the show to promote his upcoming Fringe show/album launch. Leighland has laid down a full length album with a complete backing band full of the dirtiest songs you will ever hear. To celebrate the release of “Aural Turpitude” Leighland is bringing “An Evening With Leighland Beckman” to the 2022 edition of the Saint-Ambroise Montreal Fringe Festival. Opening night is June 10th so get your tickets now. June 10th is also the release of the album which you can buy physical copies of at the show OR get on digital through leighlandbeckman.com.

Oh, Leighland also has the distinction of being the first recipient of three brand new questions that we decided on back in episode 255. Just another feather in his cap that just might tip the scales towards him receiving the Montreal Fringe Lifetime Achievement Award this year.

Also, we recorded this episode outside on Walter’s balcony so sometimes you might hear: garbage trucks, a hedge trimmer or something and crows.
