In this film block, Alex Vlahov, the curator of OnlyFilmNoir, joins Jeremy and Brian to explore some film noirs starring a wise-cracking, tough-talking, hard-boiled Lucille Ball. Before she was everyone’s favorite comedian or green lighting Star Trek and The Twilight Zone, Lucy was a studio contract player that the studio didn’t know what to do with, so they cast her in all kinds of roles in all kinds of pictures, including a few film noirs.
