As one of the most coveted muscle cars in existence, the 2nd generation Dodge Chargers built from 1968-1970 are sought after by collectors worldwide. To some, they are the epitome of muscle car perfection, and to modify them in any way is considered sacrilege by many an enthusiast. Thankfully, builder, fabricator, racer, and Charger enthusiast, Chris Birdsong could care less about that, which is why he’s amassed a following of over 100k who joyfully view is Charger antics online.

We’ve been following Chris for quite some time, but it wasn’t until after we attended Muscle Cars at the Strip last month in Las Vegas, that we knew we had to have him as a guest on the Hemmings Hot Rod BBQ podcast, as it was here that he destroyed the autocross in not one, but three of his Chargers. This is a great show about road trips, racing, fabrication, and most notably, creating memories in those old sleds that many of us have in our garages.
