Episode 120 is the sixth episode of a series of quasi history lessons and Part 5 of a series covering the history of the Mafia. In part 5, we cover the infamous Apalachin Meeting that was dubbed as one of the two greatest intelligence coups in the history of the fight against the Mafia in this country. It was this event that forced J. Edgar Hoover and the FBI to acknowledge existence of a national crime syndicate and its influence and control in America. This series is a prelude to what comes next as we begin to explore the forces that were shaping the world in that era of the twentieth century.
