This is Xin (Zinn). Thank you for your support ! Remember, no matter what the year brings, you are loved and you are strong. Wishing you peace and happiness. Nearly 16,000 people are now known to have been killed and thousands injured by a huge earthquake which struck south-eastern Turkey, near the Syrian border, in the early hours of Monday morning. This was a region where there had not been a major earthquake for more than 200 years or any warning signs, so the level of preparedness would be less than for a region which was more used to dealing with tremors.
We pray for the people of Turkey and Syria, for the victims, the injured, and all those affected by the devastating earthquake. We pray for first-responders, and all those working tirelessly to rescue survivors from beneath the rubble.
In this episode, I will introduce the content of the Diamond Sutra, and will take all of you to practice mindfulness meditation - The body scan
