The Miami Hurricanes Basketball team have shown positive developments for the health of Norchad Omier. His status for Friday night against Drake is still up in the air, but Omier was moving around, stretching and shooting during a Wednesday morning practice without any visible tape or wrap on his ankle. He sprained it during Miami’s ACC tournament matchup against Duke. Head coach Jim Larranaga said Omier wants to play and has been working 10 hours a day with the training staff. Further decisions on his status will be made on Thursday. It’s unclear so far how well he can run and jump.
