While it may be a forgone conclusion that this year's James Norris Memorial Trophy is destined for San Jose Sharks blue-liner Erik Karlsson's mantle, there are some other d-men having excellent seasons that could be worth a little sprinkle of a bet with an outside shot at taking home the hardware. Solid offensive and fantasy hockey pieces like New York Rangers Adam Fox and even Colorado Avalanche defenseman Cale Makar.
Names that are already established in the fantasy hockey realm and of course at the NHL level that will be knocking at the Norris Trophy door over the next fews years will be the likes of Dallas Stars young gun Miro Hieskennen and Buffalo Sabres top pick Rasmus Dahlin. In terms of striking it rich fantasy hockey-wise with young blue-liners set for big-time coming out seasons next year at the NHL level, fantasy hockey GMs need to be considering the likes of the following.
Young blue-liners like Calen Addison of the Minnesota Wild, Jake Sanderson of the Ottawa Senators of of course Moritz Seider of the Detroit Red Wings and former first overall draft pick and burgeoning fantasy hockey star Owen Power of the Buffalo Sabres. Others set for big-time stepping out seasons are Filip Hronek of the Canucks and K'Andre Miller of the New York Rangers and lastly Vince Dunn of the Seattle Kraken and Noah Dobson of the New York Islanders.
