Johnny Jets joins Crew Chief A.M. Pfeffer to discuss how Mike White stuck with the team because Joe Douglas had the fortitude to cut ties with his 2020 fourth round draft pick, James Morgan. Morgan is now in the USFL while White has ascended from practice squad all the way to first team QB for the New York Jets as Zach Wilson potentially fades into oblivion. They discuss how White is so much more than a game manager, specifically because he has what could be the best wide receiver tandem in New York Jets history in Garrett Wilson and Elijah Moore. Not to mention Corey Davis, Denzel Mims, Braxton Berrios and two very capable Tight Ends in Tyler Conklin and C.J. Uzomah. Pfeffer and Johnny Jets discuss what Michael Carter's ankle injury means as they make a march towards the playoffs, as well as Rivka Boord's excellent X-Factor article about Robert Saleh. Johnny wrote a LinkedIn article of his own pointing at Saleh as the reason the Jets won't make the playoffs since he started Wilson in both New England Patriots games, but Pfeffer ends the episode by bringing up the four teams the Jets are up against for a lower seed, showing the remaining schedule for all four teams (Ravens, Bengals, Patriots, Chargers) and proving why the future is still bright if the Jets take care of business or even end .500 over the last six games. As always, they answer questions from the audience to end the episode.
