Many magicians come to our town and they are really amazing and fun. But David Kwong is different…he’s a master magician but also a New York Times crossword puzzle constructor and puzzle solver! From the moment you arrive at the theater, you are greeted with challenges in the Puzzle Garden to be solved even before you enter the theater space (though solving them is NOT required for entry)…and then, sit back and be amazed by 90+ minutes of magic, puzzles and challenges. The audience is not beyond the proverbial 4^th wall…no, David involves the audience in a respectful and inviting way as they try to solve the puzzles he creates. It is pure fun!

In this interview, Kwong goes behind the curtain to talk about his craft, with great detail about the theatrical evening; he even demonstrates some puzzles that podcast viewers and listeners have the chance to solve. Even in his interviews, David is interactive.
