Andrew Tyndale was employee number 16 at Babcock & Brown Australia, a famed investment banking firm that, at its peak, had 28 offices, over 1,500 employees and managed funds of more than $70B.

After riding the highs of the economic boom, the 2008 Global Financial Crisis soon followed, laying waste to the business empire.

Andrew lost a great deal, not just in financial wealth, the experience opened his eyes to the depth of darkness in humanity when things get real ugly.

Fortunately, Andrew has since discovered a new purpose in life. Using his expertise and experience to direct investment capital to solve the world's biggest social and environmental problems.

Andrew first spoke to PDF about 10 years ago. The impact of that session was so profound that we have invited him back to speak to a whole new generation of attendees.

In this session, Andrew will recap the journey through his darkest days, his Fulbright Scholarship, as well as his work on impact investing, microfinancing and digital literacy.

About Andrew Tyndale:
