Melissa Burkheimer is the CEO and Conversion Design Director of Melissa Burkheimer Studios, which designs brands and creates buzz-building strategies for product launches. She's also the host of the Design Business Show podcast.

- Frame the value of everything you're bringing to the table with your design and what long-term results it will create for the client.
- There's a mutual responsibility between client and service provider and it's important to set realistic expectations by educating your clients on what's possible.
- Reinvention is okay at any time in your business, and it's okay not to grow all the time to help you figure out what you really want and what's in alignment for you.

- Melissa started her business after being bored with her job and craving more flexibility to be with her kids.
