Tim Devine of the Roll to Play Network and The Red Death joins us to talk about the first real filler episode of MLP we’ve gone through in a long time. Let’s be clear - we’re big fans of the look of these episodes, they’re telling some cool stories. But yowzers does this episode feel slapped together. The chance to meet some Viking ponies or hooved Centurions is pretty great, and we’re always moved by stories like Mistmane’s, teaching that beauty can only be fully embraced when it’s shared with others. But for an episode that (spoiler alert) has some pretty big implications later this season, there’s a lot to be desired. Join us as we laugh at hijinks and side-eye the writers just a bit as we watch “Campfire Tales” this week on Macintosh & Maud!
