Acts 20:1-12

So many lessons to be learned every time we open

the Bible. I love studying the Word of God because

this Word is a living Word. Every part of it will speak

to you if you will let it. Even stories like we read here

in Acts 20.

As we head into Acts 20 Paul after 2 years in

Ephesus is heading to Jerusalem with the hope of

heading to Rome. He wants to go back to Jerusalem

and strengthen the church there with an offering that

he is collecting from all the churches he has planted,

all these gentile churches who have no connection

to the church at Jerusalem at all but who appreciate

the sacrifices that the church made in sending out

missionaries to take the Good News of Jesus Christ

to the utter most parts of the world.
