Peter hated school as it seems to beat the joy of learning out of him.

Put your hand up if you can relate?

Over time he completely lost interest in traditional education.

So there he was watching TV as a small boy in the 70’s.

Back then you only had 3 channels to choose from. Who remembers what they were?

He was fascinated with a program called open university learning topics like physics, biology and history.

He enjoyed learning a different way, which became significant later on in life.

He left school and went straight into work as an apprentice in telecoms and later on into sales.

Then the time came to take voluntary redundancy.

You see...

Something was about to happen which would prove significant in the direction of his life.

He was working in sales delivering million-pound deals and hitting his sales target.

One day he checked his new target and it went from around 8 million to 45 million, so he just laughed.

Why do companies want us to take them seriously, but don't do that for us?

Deep down he knew self-employment was inevitable as he found it harder and harder to work in corporations.

Mainly because of the horrible office politics, conflict and hidden agendas.
Can you relate?

One day this all changed...

He went outside and saw something which caused him to hand his notice in. He was finally free, can you imagine?

With all this change happening in his life...

...He thought, there must be something wrong with me and it must be my fault.

How do I change that?

So, he found an interest in psychology. But found the books unsatisfying as there were no practical applications.

Finally...

He started learning NLP in a group, and now instead of feeling bad he could create change in real-time.

He found out...

The more you read, listen and practice at every opportunity, the more you are changing, right?
