In this episode of Terrorism 360°, Founding Director of START Dr. Gary LaFree interviews Dr. Brent Smith, founder of the American Terrorism Study in 1987. During his 22 years in the Department of Justice Sciences, Dr. Smith has served as Director of the MSCJ Program and Chair of the Department, and has published and authored multiple works, including Terrorism in America: Pipe Bombs and Pipe Dreams. He has testified regarding terrorism on several occasions before the U.S. House of Representatives Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime, as well as the National Research Council.
