Keeping Your Operation Going in Tough Times with Chris Grimes
Manage episode 336214754 series 2910043
Many regions are experiencing high heat and little rain. How can farmers and ranchers maintain their operations in these conditions? Craighead County Extension Agent Chris Grimes shares his thoughts on army worms, the effects of the drought, and ideas for pushing through.
He and Archie also discuss the physical and mental toll stress is taking. We not only need to care for our land and livestock with an eye for long-term success, but ourselves as well.
“Don’t be afraid to talk to your neighbor… Odds are they have the same thoughts that you have… There’s no sense in trying to keep it bottled up.” – Chris Grimes
