If you're tired of state legislatures being ignored by parties, candidates, and media while only having business as usual options who are out of touch with the constituents, there is good news for those in Connecticut's 1st Senate District. The district encompasses parts of Hartford and Wethersfield. Michael Oretade is the Green Party candidate running for that seat. His activism has paved way for positive change in proper response to mental health matters and relations between police and community. Based on personal and professional experience, he has seen room for improvement in education and health care as he will fight for a more level playing field and better systems for all in Connecticut.
