Our guest this week is Jim Matlock, a Research Fellow with the Parapsychology Foundation of New York City. Jim talks about the scientific and parapsychological evidence behind reincarnation, Behavioral Signs of Reincarnation, Birthmarks and Physical Signs of Reincarnation , past life memories, the interval between death and rebirth, karma, the process behind reincarnation, its history, and more fascinating topics! He wrote a book called Signs of Reincarnation, which provides the first comprehensive look at the belief in reincarnation and the evidence for past lives from historical records, anthropological studies, and contemporary research.
The mystery and process of reincarnation and near death experiences (NDEs) are not just spiritual theories, but rather backed up by a lot of scientific research and evidence from around the world. Many children around the world have dreams and memories of their past lives, that can actually be verified with historical accounts of people who have passed. Children are more connected to the spiritual world, their minds are fresh and more open, and they haven't yet been brainwashed by the rules of society.
In this episode we talk about the biggest questions of life, what happens after death and in between lives? Do souls chose their families, & are they born with certain personalities or are those traits conditioned by our environment as science has been previously led to believe? What are the various ways we can remember our past lives, and what is the purpose cross culturally? Our brains and bodies may die, but our subconscious minds live on for lifetimes to come. ESP (Extra Sensory Perception) Is one of many ways that spirits communicate with each other & with the physical realm as well as through dreams and mediums. Jim answers these questions from a scientific standpoint, analyzing what the data has proven thus far.
