When living with diabetes we can feel a lot of pressures surrounding our food choices. Both externally, and within our own heads. No matter where it comes from, the reality is this food policing has an impact on how we care for our health, and our diabetes. But even more impactful though can be how we feel about our choices, and in turn ourselves. Hello food guilt! Hello shame!
In our journey to become an intuitive eater with diabetes we need to be able to remove the moral value surrounding food choices and begin challenging this food police. And so today we explore principle #4 of intuitive eating - challenge the food police to help us do just that.

- how to identify your food police
- the sources where our food police may come from
- the impact our food police is having on our health (hint: it goes beyond what we are eating, and how we feel about what we eat)
- how stress influences blood sugars and how our relationship with food is tied into that
