2:01:00Jim Wilson could have simply dismissed himself as a competent piano tuner-technician, even an exceptional one. But he was and is so much more, and it took the sudden death of a dear friend and the encouragement of a legendary singer/songwriter to prove it to him. From a broken home in Amarillo, Texas to a multi-award-winning recording artist, Jim Wilson’s journey is a captivating tale of showbiz glamour, personal tragedy, self-discovery, and dogged determination. And, as is typical of Jim Wilson, he’s turned out to be a pretty good wordsmith. Tuned-In: Memoirs of a Piano Man is a page-turner and a life-changer. It’s a self-help book in the form of an autobiography. It is entertaining, revealing and full of lessons for musicians, fans, and all readers. Jim Wilson’s life direction was set when he was given a guitar at age 7, then began composing songs at age 9. Soon after moving from West Texas to LA in his early 20’s, he gained a reputation as a respected piano technician, catering to the highest echelon of the music industry. Jim helped develop the first MIDI-adapter for acoustic piano in the 80’s, which became an instant hit with artists and studios around the world. Four of Jim’s ten recordings have hit the Billboard Top-20, he’s had two PBS specials, and his music has been streamed over 75 million times by fans around the globe. He was recently made a “Lifetime Member” of the Recording Academy. He enjoys scuba diving, skiing, pilot lessons, and mountain biking. Tuned In is Jim’s first book. 1:32:00Claudia Stavola began her career as a stand-up comedian when she realized the office thing wasn’t for her (she hates casual Friday, and chipping in for gifts for people who grunt when she says “hello” in the hallway.). She is also a writer for the satirical rock and roll website, Madhouse Magazine, and the host of the hard rock/heavy metal morning show on Monsters of Rock on Dash Radio—a station that boasts over 800,000 listeners per day. She can be heard weekdays from 8:00 AM to Noon EST/5:00 AM to 9:00 AM PST. As a writer & author, Stavola recently published her book, '100 Things to Hate Before You Die,' which is a funny, relatable, and irreverent escape for comedy fans who are fed up with everything going on in the world, but can still find humor in the dumb and dumber. In this uproarious, honest, and biting collection of essays, she shares her unapologetic rantings, true stories, lists, observations, silly solutions to serious problems, and absolute fury over inconsequential things like the shorts-all-year-long guy and Gwyneth Paltrow’s vagina candle, to more provocative topics such as angry “patriotic” guys, and dating show dimwits. There are plenty of guides for where to travel, what to eat, or what to watch before you die, but when you’re flooded with antipathy over just about everything, it’s hard to know where to direct your disdain. Claudia is here to help! '100 Things to Hate Before You Die,' available on Amazon, is an easy-to-read collection of fiery musings that will help you focus on what to hate and why. Get ready for a ride of emotions—you’ll go from pissed off to more pissed off—but in the most hilarious, engaging, and funny way possible. You can also find her and follow her on Twitter, Instagram & Facebook @ClaudiaComedy making dance videos with her cats, Hall and Oates.…
