The plan in this episode was to speak to the brilliant Author and Patient Advocate Bari Roberts Ross; however due to circumstances beyond her control she was not able to make it for the interview on the New Bridge Radio Show.
In this episode Kevin discusses the memoir written by Bari entitled Stronger With Two.
The book is extremely well written and talks about the paternal twin cancers that were born on the same day but vastly different. Just as Bari was learning of her husbands diagnosis, she too would come to know of her own fledgling diagnosis.
There is a Kindle version of Stronger With Two and please don't deprive yourself of getting to know Charles and Bari Ross cause they're both extraordinary and you will be cheering by the end of the book, but you'll also see that healing isn't just about doctors and medicine. It is also the people that surround us that help us to heal.
