This week my guest is Michael Borner, CEO & Founder, Engage Technologies. Michael comes to us from Boise Idaho. He is a wealth of knowledge and inspiration. During this episode we talk about creating unity, empathy, kindness and engaging technology. Michael is an entrepreneur responsible for innovating a number of short-form, video-based enterprise technologies enabling data-driven video personalization & mass constituent engagement.

He is a TEDMED 2013 Frontline Scholar, as well as a national award-winning film and video producer and technologist. He led one of the first hospital pilots to use the iPad for patient engagement the day iPad debuted on April 3rd, 2010 at the Disney Children’s Hospital in Orlando.

Michael’s clients have included: Johnson & Johnson, CVS, Ford, Samsung, UnitedHealthcare, Covidien, UPMC, St. Luke’s Health System, Ken Blanchard Companies, just to name a few. E

The goal of engage technologies is to help remove barriers to patient education. Patients go along a uniquely guided path that empowers them and helps to shrink knowledge gaps. That is done by customized short videos that is sent to their phone directly from their personal physician. Michael shares a quick tutorial video on the YT Channel for all to see.
