Assumptions, biases, mistaken beliefs....you have them. I have them. It's totally normal. It also causes so much hurt, heartache and despair if we assume too much.
The idea behind challenging your assumptions comes from the fact that quite often your assumptions are based on a bad premise or just flat out wrong information.
I learned long ago that when I assume it makes an a** out of you and me! And while that's a trite funny joke, it's also very true.
In today's episode I cover why assumptions are not good, as well as give you tools to use to overcome them and to practice better methods to improve communication, workflow, and results. After all, we want positive outcomes, not negative ones.
