Becoming a Center of Gospel Influence – Acts 19:1-10

Through every trial, experience and encounter, the Apostle Paul’s faith grew. He saw God’s hand move when life was good and when life was bad. Paul learned to be content in all circumstances. (Philippians 4:11-13)

When Paul arrived in Ephesus, God had prepared 12 hearts ready to receive the Gospel.

These new disciples followed Paul. They began to hear and see the mighty works of God.

Paul continued his ministry to those who attended the synagogue. He spoke boldly with those listening for three months. Paul preached Jesus crucified, buried, and resurrected. (1 Corinthians 15:1-10)

Paul persuaded some concerning things of the Kingdom of God. He used the wisdom given him by God.

When unbelief hardened the hearts of some, they turned to their wicked ways and spoke evil of Jesus, Paul, and the Church.

Paul and his disciples separated from the synagogue. (Matthew 10:1-40)

God opened a wide door of opportunity for Paul to preach daily in the lecture hall of Tyrannus. This platform opened the door for the Gospel to spread throughout Asia.

The school of Tyrannus became Paul’s headquarters for two years.

Ephesus became a Center of Gospel Influence to Jews and Gentiles all over the region.

Like Paul, God is calling us to an impossible task. Have you listened to your calling?

Fulfilling God’s plan in your life begins with submitting your heart to Him. Have you given your heart and life to Jesus?

Are you willing to do whatever He ask of you?
