Zoey holds a master’s from NYU Tisch and is an actress, writer and director. Her award-winning play Olityelwe toured Off Broadway, South Africa, Edinburgh UK, and was a Time Out NY Critic's Pick.
She has shot award-winning Short Film on HBO that has screened in festivals worldwide. Her recent show The Black History ran off-broadway in the fall to critical acclaim.
Before getting her Master Degree she worked as a teacher and a humanitarian aid worker on refugee camps in West Africa. She was the founder and Executive Director of NGO Bright Future Arts International in Ghana. Currently, she works on documentaries and is the Co-Artistic Director of Smoke & Mirrors Collaborative.
