Greg’s Projects

• Greg has finished his Christmas socks with yarn from KnittyAndColor.
• Greg is still letting Frog and Toad by Kristina Ingrid McGowan have space in his brain while he procrastinates with finishing Frog.
• Greg is working on a few design projects.
• Greg is working on some fingerless mitts for Meredith. He’s using the Cloudburst pattern by Arienne Grey and Berroco Folio™ yarn.

Pam’s Projects

• Pam fixed the crochet bunting with apples using the pattern In Love With Apples by Raffaella Tassoni. She used KnitPicks Palette.
• Pam worked on on Ella’s Felted Christmas Stocking. She is using Knitpicks Wool of the Andes Bulky.
• Pam worked on her Spinning for Socks Socks in cheviot spun from Sadie Spins! and she is loosely following the Vanilla Latte pattern by Virginia Rose-Jeanes.
• Pam worked on the Windschief Hat by Stephen West. She is using Buffalo Wool Co. Moon.
• Pam is working on her Chilkat Cowl by Romi Hill and is in love.
• Pam plied some singles of BLF/Border Leicester Cross. She used a plying bracelet with this tutorial.
• Pam started a Super Bulky Hat by Ashleigh Kiser. She is using Loops & Threads Cozy Wool.

Book Club

• Next episode we will conclude Chapter 1 of The Knitter’s Book of Yarn: The Ultimate Guide to Choosing, Using, and Enjoying Yarn by Clara Parkes. We try to host book club so you don’t need the book to enjoy the discussions but this book is such a wealth of knowledge we highly recommend it!

Miscellaneous

• We talked about crochet bowl cozies and mentioned the Bowl Cozy Hot Pad Pattern by Amy B Stitched, which was a pattern mentioned in our Ravelry forums.
• Greg has been exploring Fraquemont University, which is Abby Franquemont’s online home for teaching.
• Greg continues to enjoy watching Ted Lasso on Apple TV+. He also found out that if you have a free Target Circle membership (not a credit card, the rewards program), you can get a four-month free trial of Apple TV+.
• Pam mentioned the Come From Away movie on Apple TV+ that she’s interested in watching.
• We mentioned SAFF, the Southeastern Animal Fiber Fair, in Asheville, NC which is coming up on October 22-24.
• The NC State Fair, in Raleigh, NC, will be October 14-24.
