Good morning, New York City! This is your weather report for today, coming in hot... or should I say, cold?
Let's break down what Mother Nature has in store for us. Today, we're looking at a mostly sunny day with temperatures hovering near 32 degrees Fahrenheit. But don't let that fool you - the wind chill will make it feel like a crisp 20 to 25 degrees. Those west winds are going to be howling at around 15 to 18 miles per hour, so bundle up!
Tonight, expect mostly cloudy skies that'll gradually clear up. The temperature will dip down to a chilly 25 degrees Fahrenheit, with wind chills between 10 and 20 degrees. Those breezy west winds will be whipping around 21 miles per hour, so keep that winter coat handy.
Wednesday brings us pure sunshine with a high near 33 degrees Fahrenheit. Again, wind chills will dance between 10 and 20 degrees, with northwest winds charging at 18 to 21 miles per hour.
As we roll into Thursday and Friday, we'll see temperatures warming up slightly, with Friday potentially reaching a more comfortable 41 degrees Fahrenheit. Weekend forecast? Saturday's looking at potential showers after 1 pm, with a 60 percent chance of precipitation.
Sunday and Martin Luther King Day might bring a sprinkle of snow showers, so keep those winter boots ready!
