In today's episode I had the honor to share the space with Naomi Tapia. Naomi is a first generation college graduate and associate marriage and family therapist in the state of California. Naomi has presented at the first annual BIPOC eating disorders conference on Eating Disorders amongst Latinas. She also sits on the board of Body Reborn, a non-profit eating disorder organization that serves BIPOC folk. Naomi is a published contributor, her writing can be found in the American Counseling Association's Counselor Self-Care book. She is also a new part-time lecturer, teaching at California State University, Fullerton. Naomi is passionate about body image, eating disorders, family dynamics, and the Latine/x comunidad.
