In a week where:

1. Will Smith resigns from The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences.
2. The World Cup draw goes down.
3. The Grammys come & go.
4. Channel 4 will be privatised and sold off.
5. Elon Musk buys stake in Twitter, getting onto the board of directors.

In Environment: (7:09) The stealthy threat of microplastics has gotten to the point where I'm beginning to see memes about it. And when it's confirmed that they can be found in people's bloodstream, let the memes continue. As if it's not an inevitability or anything...

In Politics: (17:30) Just a couple of months ago, Rishi Sunak was so close to becoming Prime Minister. But now, Sunak is seen as not only garbage, (like the rest of them) but is now genuinely linked to Russian money!

In the 1st of two Culture segments: (30:01) If you know Jack Wills, you're probably an affluent white kid. But after going into administration and being bought by (OF ALL PLACES) Sports Direct, they're now aiming for the more melanated consumer.

Lastly, in the 2nd Culture segment: (40:03) Spain & Italy are investing in their 18-year-olds by giving them money to invest (or blow it all) on culture. There are not many things I want for UK society as bad as this.
