We are joined by Brooke Bobyak, the winemaker for Bella Union. Bella Union is one of the labels under Far Niente Wine Estates. With well known labels such as Far Niente, Nickel & Nickel and En Route, the wines under the Far Niente umbrella are some of the most well recognized from California's wine country.
Founded in 2012, Bella Union was established with the focus of making blended Cabernet Sauvignon beginning with grapes grown on their 25 acre vineyard in Rutherford.
Bella Union is an affordable, accessible wine (found at many retailers across the nation) that represents some of the best Napa Valley has to offer.
Brooke's story of making wine has taken her all over the world. It began in France with a summer winemaking course, after that she quickly changed her major at UC Davis and she began the journey that led her to being Bella Union's Winemaker.
We always love the opportunity to speak directly to winemakers to hear their personal journey of a winemaker as well as the process involved in making wine. This episode is both fun and informative, listen to join the journey!
