The church must have compassion for humanity. Jesus does. We humans are created in the image of God and will spend eternity somewhere.

There are unfailing blessings in God’s presence.

God will always have a plan for edification, exhortation, and comfort. Today, you and I have access to the Holy Spirit and the deposit of blessings to come.

The presence of God moves you from your past, distinguishes you from the world, and shields you from the enemy.

A move of God will change the landscape.

A revelation of God changes things - usually starting with us.

The presence of God moves you. He won’t leave you where you are and he is certainly taking you somewhere.

The presence of God brings peace and rest.

Everywhere God’s presence goes brings life.

Welcome to the 2024 summer series. We will look at God’s rivers in Ezekiel and Revelation and see how His Spirit moves in our land today.

What do you have that reminds you of God’s faithfulness?

Giving is much more about the position of your heart than the position of your portfolio.

There is strength in numbers. We need some people on our team. Also, we need to step up and stand with our brothers and sisters in Christ.

It is wonderful that there is safety in numbers, but sometimes in life, we have to weather the storm alone. We must be ready with deep roots to draw from God’s word and find strength to stand.

God calls us to do amazing things - sometimes using unconventional gifts and talents. Beyond stewarding our gifts and talents, sometimes the Holy Spirit anoints us to accomplish amazingly atypical things as we build His kingdom.

The Roman centurion had amazing faith - not just in Jesus’s power, but also in His authority. The authority of Jesus means that He can watch over His word to fulfill it; no weapon formed against you will prosper.

King Saul quit God, but God did not quit Israel. God raised up David. In our times, many have left the Truth, but there is still a Church (capital C) through which the Holy Spirit works as we build His kingdom.

Because the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead abides in us!

King Saul’s downward spiral is characteristic of all people and societies who reject God.

King Saul traded future blessing and fulfilled promises for short sighted gains, blatantly disobeying the command of God.

It is very easy to make a bad decision under pressure. King Saul did - let’s aim higher through the help of the Holy Spirit

King Saul fumbled his calling partially because he did not embrace the truth that God spoke over him.

Saul’s story ends up taking some really bad turns. But that is not how he started. He began his journey with an anointing from God and the tools to do things correctly.

Some things in our schedule are worth defending. We must make commitments and keep them.

Our world is changing. Our society and culture is turbulent. The Message of the gospel never changes. Sin still separates us from God (stable message) and there is still no one too far from redemption (stable message). For all of us Children of God, there is still personal and timely revelation available to us (stable message).…

In a world that is continually falling apart, the church bust be stable.

We love what God has done, but we won’t get stuck in the past. God is going to do a new thing for new seasons. We are looking for new opportunities, new influence, new tools, new ideas, and new anointing!

God will certainly give us good gifts. Waiting is hard. He gives us gifts to sustain us while we are waiting for the breakthrough.

Most of the time, the future is not clear. Nevertheless, we have faith, patience, and confidence in the gifts of God.

Jesus lamenting over Jerusalem reminds us of His brokenness over our sin and His love that lets us choose.
