He formerly served as CEO of global health company ViSalus, which he sold for $792.4 million.

His newest company, AlterCall, aims to help people break through their minds, bodies, and souls in order to rebuild their lives. He won the DSN Global Turn Around Award in 2010 and was named Ernst & Young’s 2012 Entrepreneur of the Year. His first book, Nothing to Lose, Everything to Gain, was a New York Times bestseller in 2011.
