Kit Burden is Partner at DLA Piper and a member of the International Board at DLA Piper, having previously been co-chair of its global technology sector. He helps formulate and oversee the strategic direction of DLA Piper, one of the world's top 3 law firms in terms of both revenue and number of lawyers. Aside from his board role, he works with clients on complex technology and sourcing/outsourcing transactions, including in particular IT and Business Process outsourcing, systems integration, ERP and CRM implementations, cloud/digital transformation projects and joint venture operations. The Legal Directories have consistently ranked him as a "Tier 1" lawyer for both technology and outsourcing projects and he has been variously recognised as "UK Legal Advisor of the Year" for technology law by Legal Experts, and separately as both "Legal Advisor of the Year" and "Strategic Advisor of the Year" by the Global Sourcing Association. He is also the author of 4 separate books on technology and outsourcing topics, including Sweet and Maxwell's best selling book on IT Contracts, and Globe Publications books on Negotiating Technology Contracts and Outsourcing.
