Mike and Jason discuss the unrealized gains and losses on investment securities, the current state of the stock market, the history of financing and real estate, the concept of hedonic adjustment used by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the cycle of long-term interest rates, corporate bankruptcies, and the economic situation. They also discussed the use of gold as a safe haven asset and the potential for an economic collapse.
