Does God require something from us in order to gain eternal life-- Some teach that we must follow the law to be saved. Others have some other set of written rules or rites that they claim God gave them. Roman Catholics claim that, among other things, the sacraments are necessary. Mormons have their own set of guidelines they must follow for exaltation. Jehovah-s Witnesses have yet other rules and guidelines. It seems that many faiths require something of its adherents in order to achieve salvation.
