After all our talking, all our singing, what happens to the world when; deep down religious people are just as panicked and filled with the fears of the day as the society around us? What does that say about what we truly believe? If your faith doesn’t protect you from the fear of life, what good is it? Fear is a punishment. Is the death of body the alter at which everything truly bows? Do we even believe in the existence of spirit anymore? Is safety our one true God? “Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul.
