For the first edition of our podcast, we present you „Violet Core“, co-founder, booker and resident DJ of „Bass Forward The Revolution“.
Standing behind the decks since 2014, Violet constantly widen her activities in the drum and bass scene, whether as promoter of the legendary „Therapy Sessions“ in Hamburg or by co-founding her own label „Insomnius Music" . As if this wasn't enough, she's also enhancing her own productions as a part of the producer & DJ duo „Scary Woods" and under her own Alias.
In this nearly 2-hours long journey through all facettes of dark dnb, „Violet Core" delivers a intriguing reflection of her own musical vision. From trueskool to crossbreed, from classics to modern neurofunk, this mix provides a vast variety of styles, while still retaining a thread. Own productions and some unreleased material from both of her projects aren't missing either.
