In recent episodes, we considered the importance of systematic theology for the average person. This discipline helps us become better Bible readers and it brings clarity to what we believe. Starting today, we will begin a bi-weekly study through systematic theology, using Peter van Mastricht's book Theoretical-Practical Theology. If you haven't gotten volume one of the book yet- there's still time! In this episode, I'll be answering the million-dollar question: Why Theoretical-Practical Theology? And to answer, we'll consider what the translator and editor of this book have to say about Peter van Mastricht's method of theology and why it has been brought to us in the English language.
