Today we will be looking at the words thought and frame

The word thought is spelled as T-H-O-U-G-H-T. A thought can be an idea, concept, or opinion that occurs in someone’s mind. Thoughts can be about a book you are reading, a current world issue, an idea for a new project, things to add in your essays, or even jokes. An example with a sentence could be, “Suzie had a sudden thought about her new science project last night.” Another definition for thought can be the action or the process of forming an idea or belief in someone’s mind. So the name of the action it takes to come up with ideas and concepts. An example of a sentence could be, “Julia sat deep in thought for a while before she got any new fundraising ideas.’ In this sentence, ‘deep in thought’ is a way of saying that she was thinking about that. Thought can be only used as a noun.

The word frame is spelled as F-R-A-M-E. This word can be used as both a verb and a noun. A frame can be a rigid structure that surrounds or encloses something. It can be pieces of wood surrounding a picture, it can be pieces of wood surrounding your bed, it can be metal pieces surrounding a screen. All of these are a frame. A sentence with this word can be, “The photo was enclosed with a wood frame that was gold in color.” The verb definition of frame is creating a plan, a structure, or a concept. An example with is can be, “Mark and Stacy were busy framing their quarterly proposals.” Frame is used to say that they were busy planning those proposals.
