This week Collar Works Radio host Justin Baker sits down with Kathy Greenwood and Judie Gilmore, two area gallery directors who stepped in to host this year’s Mohawk Hudson Regional, the region’s most prestigious yearly survey of art makers. Kathy Greenwood is the director of the Albany International Airport Gallery and Judie Gilmore is the director of the Opalka Gallery on the campus of the Sage College. Not able to make it was Tony Iadicicco who is the director of Albany Center Gallery (which is the third venue hosting the regional). We get the first-hand account of how this year’s regional dramatically changed hands and what went into putting this ambitious presentation of the Mohawk Hudson Regional on for its 85th showing.
