Cougar fans, it's time for another CougarCorner podcast! Rivalry week has arrived and all the hoopla that goes with it. We have a great rivalry week coverage for you, but before we get to that, we review the Cougars game against the Wildcats of Weber St.
The Cougars came out a little vanilla against the Wildcats, but no one can complain about the resounding win (45-13). The offense had a lot going well, including 3 QBs scoring touchdowns, lots of guys running the ball, and even more guys caught the ball. Defensively, the Cougars looked pretty good too. The CougarCorner podcast staff breaks down the numbers and plays that Cougar fans will want to know about.
Next we turn our sights on the Utah Utes. What will the Cougars need to do offensively and defensively to come away with a win? We have the analysis and insights! What will the Utes do, coming off their heart breaking loss to USU and loss of senior leader Jordan Wynn? What would it take for them to be able to "rise-up?" We have that covered too. Finally, the CougarCorner experts share their vision of what will happen, and what it means for Cougar fans.
In a fully new segment, we take a look at each of the 2012 opponents and discuss if their stock is rising or falling and how they are looking so we know how teams we've played are looking and how upcoming opponents may fair.
Speaking of upcoming opponents, don't forget about the Boise St. Caravan. We'd love to have you join us for a BYU game in Boise.
Finally we give some shoutouts to those deserving groups who are really excellent at what they do, such as the BYU Women's Soccer team, http://bloodrunsblue.com for their awesome weekly Cougar comic strip, and even Jimmer for the release of his new book, something all Cougar fans will want to read.
